Simple terms.

The simple version

• AbegNa is a platform for Nigerians to help each other with small money needs.
• You must be 18 or older and have a Nigerian phone number and bank account.
• We take 0% commission. 100% of what is given goes to the person who asked. Withdrawing costs a flat ₦100.
• The most you can ask for is ₦100,000. The least is ₦2,000.
• If you scam, lie or abuse the platform, we will ban you for good.
• We are not responsible if someone misuses money they receive.

1. Who can use AbegNa

To use AbegNa, you must be at least 18 years old, have a valid Nigerian phone number, have a Nigerian bank account in your own name, give accurate information when you register, and not have been banned from AbegNa before.

One person, one account. If you create more than one account, all your accounts will be banned.

2. How requests work

You can ask for between ₦2,000 and ₦100,000. You should give an honest reason, though a reason is optional. Your request is visible to all users unless you delete it. Requests expire after 7 days. You can have 1 active request at a time.

We do not check that the reasons people give are accurate. Givers decide for themselves whether to give.

3. How giving works

100% of your gift goes to the person who asked. We take 0%. Payments are processed by Paystack. You can give anonymously if you want.

Gifts are final, except for fraud. If we find fraud before the money is withdrawn, every giver is refunded in full.

4. What is not allowed

Creating fake or misleading requests, using more than one account to game the system, harassing other users, using AbegNa for anything illegal, or trying to cheat givers will get you banned for good. We may also report it to the relevant authorities.

5. Our liability

AbegNa is a platform that connects people. We do not guarantee that any request will be funded. We do not guarantee that any request is accurate. We are not responsible for how people use the money they receive.

We do our best to prevent fraud, but we cannot promise there will be none. Use your own judgement when you give.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will tell you about big changes in the app or by email. If you keep using AbegNa after a change, you accept the new terms.
